Jess serves as the Agency Administrator at Art from Ashes. She began her journey with the agency as an intern while earning a Master of Social Work degree at the University of Denver, with focuses on social science research, program evaluation, and integrated health care.
After graduation, Jess returned to her roots in the midwest while continuing to support AfA as a member of staff. Jess loves working with organizations that take a creative and culturally responsive approach to health equity. In addition to her work at AfA supporting youth programming and facilitation, grant writing, program evaluation and fundraising, Jess is eager to support similar ventures locally and nationally.
When she isn’t generating reports or wrangling data, Jess enjoys listening to audiobooks, cuddling with her dog, or getting outside to hike, camp, swim, paddle board, or just take a walk! She loves dancing and dabbles in various art mediums, including poetry, art journaling, collage, and fiber arts.
