Art from Ashes is proud to announce that our very own Director of Operations, Angelica Peralta, graduated from the Leadership Arts program offered by the Colorado Business Committee for the Arts (CBCA)! This nine-month program develops leaders in the arts by preparing participants to serve on nonprofit boards, increasing civic engagement in the arts, and building the necessary skills to be an effective volunteer leader in Colorado’s arts community. The curriculum covers board governance, legal and fiscal stewardship, equity and inclusion, fundraising, advocacy, social justice, and other topics. Art from Ashes thanks CBCA for offering this unique program and boasts of having past graduates as board members.
