Art from Ashes youth poets have performed at numerous events across the Denver Metro Area this year.
From Denver PRIDE fest to the Youth on Record Block Party, the We Don’t Waste “Fill a Plate for Hunger” event, and the Fully Liberated Youth (FLY) block party, youth have shared their Art from Ashes poems in front of audiences, building community and sharing their bravery. All of these performances were in addition to our monthly First Friday and Third Thursday performances, ensuring that youth ages 12 to 24 have consistent spaces and platforms to be heard and have their voices amplified.
Thanks to all of our youth poets who bravely step up to the mic and to our youth ambassadors Beo, Kenai, Rhea, Eleven, and Alma for their leadership and encouragement to all.
