Bev Weiler is a licensed professional counselor who works primarily with adolescents, most of whom are gender queer and neurodivergent. In 2015, she worked with adjudicated youth at Lookout Mountain and did her internship at Pinnacle Charter School, providing services to the school’s mostly Latinx students. Bev was instrumental in the founding of two charter schools in the Adams 12 school district, serving as Board President for three years at Westgate Community School. Having received her B.A. in Drama and English from Colorado College, Bev founded One Spirit Players, a drama program for diverse groups of young people representing a wide range of ethnicities, as well as diverse cultural and social backgrounds. She has worked with hearing-impaired and multiply-handicapped students, and has taught Drama and English in both private and public school settings.

Bev is visually impaired and has a beautiful Guide Dog for the Blind named Matcha.
