Kree holds an undergraduate degree in Art History from CU Boulder, a graduate degree in Art Leadership and Cultural Management from Colorado State University, and is currently pursuing a certificate in Informal and Experiential Learning from Oregon State University. She is passionate about exploring how art and creativity can facilitate positive social change through its abilities to heal, empower, celebrate, and strengthen individuals and communities. Her professional interests include arts accessibility and advocacy, creative collaboration, public art, experiential learning environments, and of course, youth arts programming.
Kree is an artist herself who focuses mainly on metalwork but also loves writing, illustration, digital art, and most recently, stained glass. In her free time, she enjoys thrifting, live music, traveling, and being outside while hiking, rollerskating, longboarding, snowboarding, paddle boarding, rock climbing, or scuba diving. She is highly skilled at smashing existing words together to form new ones on the fly and can/will do the macarena to any song of any genre.
