Nathan joined Art from Ashes as an intern in October 2024 and is currently earning a Master of Social Work degree at the University of Denver.
Raised in Park Hill, Nathan’s upbringing was centered around the Denver community and creative endeavors. Constantly exploring artistic outlets and interests has continued to enrich him in ways he could not have imagined, creating a strong sense of mental and spiritual wellness for Nathan, inclining him towards serving the community which has supported him so much already.
Being part of Art from Ashes is a gratifying, engaging, and healing experience which not only serves youth, but the community as a whole, and is a testament to the power of art and poetry. Nathan is training to be a co-facilitator in AfA workshops.
Nathan also enjoys cooking, yoga, skating, and camping. A classic game of billiards is always on the table. Cuddling with a cat and a cup of hot java is a welcome activity as well.
