Nicole Norstrud, Grant Lead/Fundraiser

Nicole Norstrud began her career as an aerospace engineer working for Lockheed Martin Skunkworks as a Conceptual Designer. Over the years, she became the program manager for the N+2/N+3 NASA-sponsored supersonic programs and managed multiple federal proposal responses.
After becoming a mom, Nicole began volunteering at Art from Ashes in 2015 to support her community as a member of the Art from Ashes grant writing team. Nicole utilizes skills honed while earning her Master’s in Business Administration by writing grants to secure critical funding to sustain AfA’s mission. Today, Nicole serves as AfA’s Grant Lead and Fundraiser. She loves serving youth in community by amplifying their voices and believes that everyone deserves the right to be supported and heard.
As an infertility survivor, Nicole is also passionate about documenting infertility stories, and photographing her two boys. She plans to become one of the fastest speed puzzlers in the State of Colorado, and can often be seen practicing her Spanish on anyone who will listen.
