From volunteer to lead facilitator, Rebecca dove headfirst into the world of Art from Ashes and hasn’t looked back!
Originally from Atlanta, Rebecca is a journalist and editor and has spent her career hoping to craft the perfect story. She loves AfA because nothing here has to be perfect, and it’s a welcome reprieve from her daily tasks (and critical brain).
When Rebecca started volunteering with AfA last year, she had no idea where it would lead her, and now she can hardly imagine a week without getting creative with youth who inspire and surprise her constantly.
When Rebecca isn’t facilitating a workshop or furiously writing to meet deadline, she’s probably making soap or screaming along to My Chemical Romance at one of Denver’s many emo nights.
