On October 15th, Art from Ashes laughed it up at the Flamboyán Theater @ The Three Leaches Theater with our first ever Stand-Up for Hope. It was an evening full of comedy and poetry, some vulnerability, joy and kindness, plus a silent auction and a raucous game of Heads or Tails. Hosted by Sammy Anzer, and featuring BK Sharad, Irina Bogomolova, Jennifer Sutherland, Ren Q Dawe, and two of our youth ambassadors, the 70+ in attendance had a great time! Together, we raised over $7000 to support out transformative programs for youth. Thanks to all of the performers, youth poets, volunteers, and audience members who made this event a success!
