DESCRIPTION:Art from Ashes is partnering with Shine Music to present the Shine Music Festival—a radically accessible music event—on Sunday\, August 8th at the Levitt Pavilion in Ruby Hill Park\, Denver. One of our youth poets will perform to kick-off the event at 1pm\, and we’ll have a table set up with art and writing prompts for the community. \nShine Music Festival is a family-friendly\, accessible music experience founded by Shawn Satterfield. DESCRIPTION:Laura Peña and youth poet Daniella First Friday on Instagram \nFOR ALL AGES\nJoin us every First Friday for youth spoken word performances via Instagram on our account page @afaphoenix between 6 and 6.30 pm. \nShow support for the young people who participate in our Phoenix Rising youth empowerment program. Listen as youth poets ages 12 to 24 tell their stories in metaphor through poems written in only 3 minutes. \nJust before the public performance\, youth gather through a Zoom workshop at 5pm for a FREE one-hour Phoenix Rising writing and performance workshop\, featuring a local performance poet.
