In an evening of spectacle and splendor, dozens of past, present, and perennial AfA community members came together to celebrate the agency’s 20th anniversary. Youth poets, guest performers, and faithful facilitators presented works of hope, pain, courage, joy, and affirmation in an atmosphere of encouragement and inspiration. As leaders of the staff and board took to the mic to share stories from AfA’s decades long history of helping participants to embrace their inner creative genius, partygoers were invited to share their own dreams for the organization’s next twenty years of youth empowerment.
