Natalie’s journey with Art from Ashes began in April 2023 when she participated in the adult workshop series, Re-igniting Your Creative Genius. After experiencing her own transformation in the workshops, she began training to be a co-facilitator for AfA’s youth workshops. Since then, she has continued to grow and expand her reach at Art from Ashes, serving as Community Liaison and overseeing the Youth Ambassador Program. Natalie has dreamed of a life surrounded by artists and creatives, so she made one!
Natalie has an undergraduate degree in Architecture and Planning from CU Denver and has since pursued a career as an artist. Natalie creates and sells under the moniker Alma de Arte (“soul of art” in Spanish). She is passionate about community building and creating opportunity for human connection. As an artist, she hopes that viewers see themselves in her work and find that their soul is represented as something both beautiful and familiar. This same desire is why Natalie is eager to serve her community through the magic that pours from Art from Ashes.
In her free time, Natalie is visiting art galleries across the country, training for her next lifting competition, watching scares movies, tending to her family farm, jamming to live music, or hangin’ with her cat, Pepper.
