The event was well attended, with folks from other youth organizations, the city and county of Denver, and even Mayor Mike Johnston was there! We met so many folks, broadening our reach to create new partnerships with others who are dedicated to empowering youth in our community, engaging more future youth poets for our upcoming workshops.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/artfromashes.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/FUTURE-FEST-Tylan.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-20045 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/artfromashes.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/FUTURE-FEST-Tylan-845x684.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"230\" height=\"186\" srcset=\"https:\/\/artfromashes.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/FUTURE-FEST-Tylan-845x684.png 845w, https:\/\/artfromashes.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/FUTURE-FEST-Tylan-495x400.png 495w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 230px) 100vw, 230px\" \/><\/a>During the performance showcase, our courageous youth poets Tylan (age 23) and Willow (age 18) performed poems that were written in three minutes in an Art from Ashes workshop.
